SwedenBIO has three categories of membership
SwedenBIO is the only national organization working for the benefit of the entire life science industry in Sweden. SwedenBIO is a truly member driven, private non-profit organization. The main objective is to improve and maintain industry conditions which will support prosperous growth and business development among our, today,180 member companies. Our members are active in all sectors ranging from R&D, biotech, medtech to pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and biotech tools to service providers as CROs.
The annual fee is based on the number of full time employees in Sweden.
1. Associate membership: For Life Science companies with up to 9 full time equivalents (FTE).
* The fee consists of two parts. Firstly, a service fee of 1 100 SEK + VAT/FTE/year with a minimum fee of 5 500 SEK + VAT/year. (VAT deductible)
* Secondly, a formal membership fee of 275 SEK/year. (Tax deductible)
2. Full membership: For Life Science companies with 10 or more full time equivalents (FTE).
* The fee consists of two parts. Firstly, a service fee of 1 100 SEK + VAT/FTE/year with a maximum fee of 110 000 SEK + VAT/year. (VAT deductible)
* Secondly, a formal membership fee of 330 SEK/year + VAT. (Tax deductible)
3. Affiliate membership: For service providers and partners
* The minimum service fee is 22 000 SEK + VAT/year and excludes a formal membership fee of 275 SEK/year.
Affiliate members have the same status and access to information and membership events as full- and associate members but have no voting rights at the Annual General Assembly.
NOTE! Membership is terminated through a written request from the member. The termination comes into effect the following calendar year, as decided at the Annual General Meeting May 26 2004:
The approval of your membership
We have a 7-day approval process and we will contact you as soon as the decision is clear.
What happens when you have been approved?
After your application has been approved we will send you a company profile document to fill out and return to us. When we have received the company profile we will publish the information in our member area.
